01 | Envision life without an Agenda
Life isn’t an enemy with an agenda.
Real talk, we must know that life isn’t here to target us even if it can often feel that way. When life starts to overwhelm you with its unpredictable nature, think of it this way. The Earth holds over 8 billion people, which means there are at least a few billion butterfly effects all clashing into each other, creating unexpected + often unfavorable moments.
Be assured that the unknown isn’t here to intimidate you. It’s just a series of unfinished cycles coming together + it may trigger your need for order or control. You may feel that if you can’t see how it all comes together in the end, then you must not be safe. However, that’s simply not true.
Timeless security is an inside job + moments of uncertainty are the perfect time to strengthen your self trust + your outlook, instead of stressing about the outcome. When you learn that being present + at peace can help you through life’s unpredictability, life will feel much lighter + you won’t wait until anxiousness passes to feel ALIVE.
02 | Remember that Life is Fluid
Remember that life is as fluid as the sea:
A quote I love to share that has helped many women remain centered through life’s storms is: “Life is as fluid as the sea.” It’s not our job to control the seas of life, but we must simply master its waves like a calm + confident captain.
All this means is that life has choppy + calm seas, + becoming someone who can remain centered through them both is what separates a restless life from a relaxed one.
It’s in these times that we must cultivate an unshakeable self trust, one that remains unchanged no matter the forecast we face. It’s never about perfection or never feeling. It’s about not allowing what happens outside of you to dictate the security you carry inside of you.
03 | Soar in Uncertainty Don’t Shrink
Unpredictability is a time to grow, not shrink. Navigating through uncertainty isn’t about life looking organized + linear so that you can have some peace of mind. Then when it’s all over you unclench + say “whew I made it through.”
And not once do you wonder if there’s another way to brace for the bad + thrive through the unknown.
In moments of uncertainty you have to stop seeing life as intimidating or a threat to your lifestyle + instead learn how to include the presence of uncertainty into your lifestyle (because it’s inevitable + it doesn’t have to overwhelm you).
